Care And Maintenance
How do I clean my bamboo lamp?
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. For deeper cleaning, use a lightly damp (not wet) cloth and wipe gently. Never soak bamboo or use chemical cleaners.
Can I use this in humid areas?
Bamboo handles normal indoor humidity fine, but avoid placing it in bathrooms, directly above stoves, or anywhere with constant moisture. It's not meant for outdoor use.
Will the color change over time?
Yes. Natural bamboo may darken slightly with age and exposure to light. This adds character and is completely normal—not damage.
What if I see small cracks or gaps?
Minor surface cracks or small gaps in the weave can happen with natural materials. They're usually cosmetic and don't affect structure or function. If something feels structurally unsound, contact us.
What kind of bulb should I use?
LED bulbs, 2700K-3000K (warm white). Maximum 15W unless specified otherwise. Never use incandescent bulbs—they generate too much heat and can damage bamboo.
How do I keep it looking good long-term?
- Dust regularly
- Keep away from direct sunlight (fades color over time)
- Avoid high moisture areas
- Use warm LED bulbs only
- Don't over-tighten fittings (bamboo can crack under pressure)
